Shortly after moving to northern California in 1983 became intrigued with tying flies and took a class at a local fly shop. Shortly thereafter took up flyfishing almost exclusively. Since moving to the Colorado front range in 1989, have worked at a local fly shop and currently guide in Rocky Mountain National Park and on private waters for several shops.
Participated in development of the PEAK Fishing rotary vise and many PEAK Fishing tools and accessories. Currently conduct both individual tying lessons and group classes. A member of Whiting Farms Pro Team, and the PEAK Fishing Pro Staff, can be seen on PEAK Fishing’s DVD Rotary Tying Techniques and at many area tying demonstrations, sports expos, fly shops, and TU events.
